The Peaberry is grown at the Fazenda Cachoeira de Grama, the plantation owned by the Carvalho Dias family since 1890. Everything on this farm, from plantation management to harvesting, is done manually as the topography of the land does not allow for mechanization.
Social equity and environmental sustainability are of primary concern to the farm and the owner Gabriel de Carvalho Dias has developed a program that stresses the planting of native species to maintain better ecological balance.
Fazenda Cachoeira de Grama is certified by the Brazilian Specialty Coffee Association and is audited annually. The cup is extremely smooth and a nearly imperceptible acidity with a full body accentuated with flavours of nuts, chocolate and berries.
