This coffee from east Africa is widely regarded as one of the best coffees in the world because every aspect of its production is treated with extreme care and attention. Generally a bright coffee that excites the palate from front to back, definitely not for people who do not like acidity in their coffees. The dry fragrance blends sweet and sour notes with caramel and floral hints. The aromatics are strong with citrus accompanied by an after-aroma of sharp spice hints and strong floral notes. The cup has a medium heavy body with flavours of berries and citruses that swings between light sweet syrup and notes of wine. The aftertaste is long and lemony with a touch of spice.
